This tutorial extends the knowledge acquired in the video «(I) FI-WARE: A European initiative for the Future Internet«. As a starting point, we assume that an instance of Orion Context Brokerhas been deployed in FILAB.
The Orion Context Broker (hereinafter broker) interacts with context producer applications (which provide sensor information) and with context consumer applications (which process that information, e.g. to show it in a graphical user interface). We will play the roles of both kinds of applications in this tutorial.
