The Cloud Incubator HUB facilities have been funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, within the National Plan for Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2008-2011.
Cloud Incubator HUB offers entrepreneurs the following facilities in the Fuente Álamo Technology Park and the Campus Muralla del Mar of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena:
Facilities in the Fuente Álamo Technology Park
- Two computer rooms of 50 m2 each, fully equipped with IT equipment (iMACs, PCs, tablets, smartphones, etc), printers, Internet, etc.
- A laboratory for the design, prototyping, manufacture and testing of consumer electronic devices (e.g. gadgets for smartphones).
- A room for developing Apps for educational uses (m-learning).
- A wireless sensors network deployed in the Fuente Álamo Technology Park for the development and testing of products related to Smart Cities and the Internet of Things.
Facilities in the Campus Muralla del Mar
Similarly, Cloud Incubator HUB has the following facilities in the Campus de la Muralla del Mar of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena:
- A work area of 50 m2, fully equipped with IT equipment (iMACs, PCs, tablets, smartphones, etc), printers, Internet, etc.
- A laboratory for the design, prototyping, manufacture and testing of consumer electronic devices (e.g. gadgets for smartphones).
- A classroom for developing Apps for educational uses (m-learning).
