This summer the University of Almería hosts the two-week Entrepreneurship Summer Academy focused on Simulations, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality from 4 July to 15 July 2016.

Eligible for attendance are students with a good level of English coming from EU-universities and high schools (and affiliated H2020 countries). The participation is totally FREE. The students will get:

– Free registration, accommodation, meals and local transport

– Up to 100 EUR reimbursement of travel expenses to reach Almería

– Chance to win funding for their start-up idea

– Certificate of attendance

During the Academy, 40 students will team-up with each other to develop a Start-up idea that will compete with other students’ ideas. During this process, the students will learn about: entrepreneurship fundamentals; opportunity identification/creation; opportunity assessment; simulations, virtual reality and augmented reality; hot technologies and emerging tools; business planning, and many other interesting contents. Moreover, the students will be able to meet and learn from invited relevant speakers in the topic and will have the opportunity to visit different companies.

The best 3 teams, together with the best 3 teams of the other 2016 STARTIFY7 Summer Academies, will participate in a dedicated Boot-Camp in Brussels in October 2016 and pitch in front of an investor panel.

The application process is now open and closes on May, 20th (https://www.f6s.com/startifyacademyonsimulations/apply)
